To the Worshipful His majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the County of Middlesex at their General Session
of the Peace assembled

The Humble Petition and
Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint James in the Liberty of the
City Westmr. in the County of Middx

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the Hands and Seals of No Conant and John Scott< no role > Esqr.
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and for
the County of Middlesex bearing date the 22d Day of October
1798 Elizabeth the wife Harris< no role > togr. with her four Children
namely Mary < no role > aged about 12 Years by her past Husband
John Ferquson< no role > and George < no role > aged about 7 years Sarah < no role > aged
about 6 Years and Catherine < no role > aged about 2 Years by her
late Husband John Harris< no role > were removed and conveyed
from and out of the Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea in
the said County to the Parish of St. James in the Liberty
of the City of Westminster aforesaid as the Place of their
last legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners conceive
themselves aggrieved.

Your Petitioners therefore himself
Appeal to this Court against the said
Order and humbly pray relief in the
premises And that your Worships
will be pleased to appoint a Day of
that purpose And your Petitioners
shall ever pray Etc
