To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in General Quarter
Session of the Peace for the said County assembled

The Humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Blackmore in the County
of Essex

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order or pass Warrant under the hands
and seals of James Stratton< no role > Esquire and
two of his majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and
for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the thirtieth day of August One thousand Seven
hundred and ninety eight Daniel Strut< no role > Margaret his Wife and
May his Child aged about three Months were removed and
conveyed from and out of the Parish of Enfield in the said County
of Middlesex to the said Parish of Blackmore in the said County
of Essex as the place of their last legal Settlement whereof your
Petitioners conceive themselves to be aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to this
Court against the adjudication of the said too
Justices and their said Order, and pray the said
Appeal may be saved unto them, and that your
Worships will be pleased to appoint a day to hear
and determine the same

And your Petitioners will ever pray
