County of Middlesex
at their General Quarter Session of the
Peace holden for the said County assembled
The Humble Petition and Appeal of John Spranger< no role >
Esquire
being an Inhabitant within the Hamlet of
Pinner
in the said County of Middlesex
and rated
towards the Relief of the Poor there
Sheweth
That on or about the fifth day of December last a rate or Assembled
was made and allowed for the relief of the Poor within the said
Hamlet for which your Petitioner was rated at the sum of One Hundred
& fifty Pounds being an Inhabitant of the said Hamlet
That your Petitioner Conceives himself aggrieved by the said
Rate or Assembled for the Reasons hereafter mentioned
First forth that at your Petitioner House and Lands in the said Hamlet
are rated beyond the Real and just Value thereof.
2d. For that the same House Persons and Lands are rated mequally with respect
to the property of other persons in the same Hamlet
3d. For that the Property of the Persons in the same Hamlet is underva [..]
in the same rate or Assessment
Your Petitioner therefore Humbly appeals
against the said Rate or Assessment and
prays that the same may be Quashed or
that your Petitioner may have such Relay
in the Premises as to your Worships shall
seem Meet and that your Worships will
appoint a Day in the next Sessions to
Hear and Determine this his Petition
and Appeal
