To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. George , in the County of Middlesex , and
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Margaret of Lothbury
in the City of London
and to each and every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, whose Names
are hereunto set and Seals affixed, being two of his Ma-
jesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said County of Middle-
sex , by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of St. George , that

Ann Norton< no role > aged ten Years and who hath
gamed no Settlement in her own right and
John Norton< no role > aged two years the two Children
of Jonathan Norton< no role > and Felicia< no role > his into both deceased
did lately come to inhabit in the said Parish of St. George Middle-
sex, not having gained a legal Settlement there, nor produced any
Certificate owning themselves to be settled elsewhere,
and that the said

Ann Norton< no role > and John Norton< no role > are

isbecome chargeable to the said Parish of St. George .
We the said Justices, upon due proof made thereof, as well upon
the Examination ofthe said John Durban< no role >
upon Oath, as otherwise, and likewise upon due Consideration had
of the Premises, do adjudge the same to be true; and we do like-
wise adjud ge thatthe lawful Settlement of them the said
Ann Norton< no role > and John Norton< no role >
to be isin the said Parish of St. Margaret of Lothbury
in the said [..] of London
We do therefore require you, the said Churchwardens and Over-
seers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. George Middlesex , or
some or one of you, to convey the said
Ann Norton< no role > and John Norton< no role >
from and out of your said Parish of St. George , to the said
Parish of Saint Margaret of
Lothbury and the door to deliver to the Churchwardens
and Oveseers of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, toge-
ther with this our Order, or a true copy thereof:And we do also
hereby require you, the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of St. Margaret of
Lothbury to receive and provide for them as Inhabitant of
your said Parish Given under our Hands and Seals the
26th Day of July in the Year of our Lord
One thousand seven hundred and ninety seven
