Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex in their Quarter Sessions of the
Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the parish of somersham in the
County of Huntingdon

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or order under
the Hands and Seals of John Houd< no role > and Rice davies< no role > two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
County of Middlesex aforesaid (one whereof being of
the Quorum) Bearing date the fifteenth day of May
one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven Elizabeth
Filliyham
< no role > widow was removed and Conveyed from and
one of the Parish of Saint Mary Islington in the said
County of Middlesex to the said parish of Somersham as
the place of the lasl legal settlement of the said Elizabeth
Fillingham
< no role > whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves
to be aggrieved

Your Petitioner therefore humbly be leave
to appeal from the said order and pray
that the said Appeal may be saved into
them and that the leaving and determining
thereof be may be adjourned until the next
Quarter Session of the Peace to be hold for the
said County And that the Churchwardens
and overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of Saint Money Fellington and all others
concerned may be then ordered to attend
And that your Petitioners may have such
Relief therein as to the Court shall Seem
MeetAnd Your Petitioners will pray Etc.
