Messuages or Tenements and Premises in the said Parish are severally
Charged in and by the said Rate or Assessment in Proportion to the Yearly
Rents of the several Messuages or Tenements and Premises for which
they are respectively charged in and by the said Rate are Assessment and
also for that the said Rate or Assessment is in many respects partial
and unequal.

And Your Petitioner hath also a material Objection
to the said Rate or Assessment for that the Reverend Mr. Drake
who at the time of making the said Rate was and now is Vicar of
the said Parish is not charged or Assessed in and by the said Rate
of Assessment in any Sum of money whatsoever for the Relief of the
Poor of the said Parish.

That your Petitioner for the reasons aforesaid hath
material Objection to the Said Rate or Assessment and Apprehends
himself to be aggrieved thereby and that the said Rate or Assessment
is illegal by reason of the manner of making the same and therefore
humbly appeals against the said Rate or Assessment-And

Your Petitioner prays that the said Rate
or Assessment may be Quashed or that your
Petitioenr may have Such Relief in the Premises
as to your Worships shall seem meet.
