The Vacancy occasioned by the Death of Mr.
Adams as Contractor for Conveying Vagrants in
through & out of this County being declared

A Petition from Lydia Adams< no role > Sister to
the paid Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. was read praying to be
appointed pass Master in his Stead.

It was Moved & Seconded That it is
not Compotable with the Duties of the Office of a Pass
Master of Vagrants for this County that the
same should be executed by a Woman which
was carried in the Affirmation

It was then Moved & Seconded That Henry
Bothwell
< no role > be appointed Contractor for the
Conveying Vagrants in Throught & out of this County
upon the same Terms on which the
late Mr Adams held the said Contract and the
said Henry Bothwell< no role > having signified his
Assent thereto The same was carried in the
Affirmative Unanimously
