To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and for the County
of Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the Peace for the said County
Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph Alderesgate in the City of London

Sheweth

That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals of
Edmund Pepys< no role > Esquire and Samuel Foyster< no role > Esquire two of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quodrum) bearing
Date the Twenty third day of March one Thousand seven hundred and Ninetyfive
Sarah Jones< no role > was removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Pancras
in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldersgate in the
City of London and delivered to your Petitioners being the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldersgate (the said Justices
adjudging the place of the last legal Settlement of the said Sarah Jones< no role > to be in the
said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldersgate

That Your Petitioners apprehend themselves to be Aggrieved
by the Order of the said two Justices and therefore Your Petitioners appeal against
the same and pray relief in the premises and

Your Petitioners also pray that the benefit of this their
Appeal may be served unto them and that the hearing and
Determining thereof may be adjourned until the next
General Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County
