maketh Oath and saith that on the
Evening of the seventh day of May last as he
this Deponent was returning home up the
Hay Market
between Panton Street
and James
Street
he this Deponent was accorted by two
Women who importened this Deponent to go
home with them which he refused that as
they were walking along this Deponent discovered
the said Martha Sims picking his Pocket
of a small Bundle containing some Muslin
that the said Martha Sims on being seized by
this Deponent instantly conveyed the said
Muslin to the said Mary Parker< no role >
who
received the same Where upon this Deponent
with the Assistance of the Watchman and
several other Persons secured her also that
the said Martha Sims and Mary Parker< no role >
were taken to the Watchhouse and the next
morning this Deponent attended at the
Office in Queen square
Westminster
and
entered into the usual Recognizance to prosecut [..]
