Richard Lillywhite< no role > of Kingsland Road Shoreditch
in the said County Hair Dresser maketh Oath and
saith That on the first day of July instant he this
Deponent entered into a Recognizance before Patrick
Colquhoun
< no role > Esquire one of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the said County, to appear at the present
quarter Sessions to give Evidence against Thomas
Breeze
< no role > for stealing an Iron shovel value ten pence
the property of Robert Diggins< no role > , that this Deponent
being one of the Headboroughs of Shoreditch Parish , sat
up last night in the watch House and received a
Night charge. which he bought to the public Office
Worship Street this Morning to be examined, and being
then informed he must attend the Sessions, he left the
charge and went immediately to the Sessions House
Clerkenwell ,brwhen he was there told that his
Name had been called, and in consequence of his
not appearing the Prisoner Robert Diggins< no role > was
discharged and this Deponent further saith that the
cause of his not appearing in time at the Sessions
House, was really an Account of a Heading at Worships
Street with the Night charge and not knowing the
nature of giving evidence at the Sessions.
