maketh Oath and Saith that on or
about the Twenty Sixth day of May last he became bound in
a Recognizance to prosecute the abovenamed John Dickins< no role >
for
Stealing One Cart Load of Dung the property of this Deponent
And this Deponent further saith that he did in pursuance
of such Recognizance attend on Thursday the fifth day of June
last and gave Instructions to the Clerk of the Indictments to
prefer a Bill against the said John Dickins< no role >
for the said
Offence and paid him Two Shillings for the same And this
Deponent further saith that he was directed by the Clerk of the
Indictments to call upon him the next morning (Friday)
for the Bill, which this Deponent accordingly did, and
obtained the same, but was informed that the Grand Jury
had been discharged the Preceeding Evening, and that therefore
he could not prosecute the said John Dickins< no role >
for the
said Offence as it was his desire and full intention to do
