First this Deponent John Geast for himself
saith that he was bound under Recognizance
before the Majestrates in Hatton Garden
in the
said County For the purpose of prefering and
Prosecuting an Indictment against the above
Named Defendant Ann Smith< no role >
For Pet Stealing And
this Deponant Further saith that he did on Thursday
the First day of Mary Instant Attend in Order to
Find a Bill of Indictment against the said
Ann Smith< no role >
for the said Offence before the Grand
Jury And the other Deponant Richard Boittoult< no role >
For himself Saith that he did to gether with the
other DeponantdidAttend the grand Inquest
and gave Evidence against the above Named
Defendant in this Prosecution in Order to
Find a Bill of Indictment which said Bill was
returned a True Bill by the said Jury as this
Deponant hath been Informed and Believes-And
did serchwithat the Office of the Clerk of the Peace on
the Friday Morning last when he this Deponant was
informed no Bill was returned And being Oblidged
to Attend the Session House in the old Bailes
as Serjant at Mace aforesaid did return a Little
