Mr. Blackborough laid the following
Complaints against Mr. Triquet before your Committee
17:

1st That Mr. Triquet hath been two or three times a
Week in Conversation with Roberts at New Prison
and has been seen looking ever the Books and
Committment's for 6 Months past

2nd That he has taken 10s.6d for Bail on a Bench
Warrant of Two Persons and hath been partners with
Berry and has made Warrants special to him for that
Purpose

3rd Hath taken Two Shillings from excls Person
brought before him as a Night Charge and
Committed them to New Prison for want of Sureties
of they could not pay it.

4th Has taken 5s for a Discuss Warrant for the
Poors Rates and 2s. 6d for several Warrant for
the same Purpose and hath not paid the
Information Money on Convictions of Bread
as the Acts directs

5th Has taken Persons to Prison and brought
them from Prison without any other Persons
being with them

6th Has taken Bail in the Prison and
discharged the Prisoner and afterwards enteren [..]
the Bail in his Books.
