To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of
of the Peace for the county of Middlesex
in their General Session of the Peace for
the sd. County Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
James Clerkenwell in the said County.

Sheweth


That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of
Jo. Beck< no role > and D: Malher Esquires two of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County (one whereof being
of the Quorum) bearing date the 19th. day of March 1785
John Dobson< no role > aged 14 Years and upwards was removed and
conveyed from the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in
the said County to the said Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell
as the Place of his [..] last, legal Settlement whereby Your
Petitioners think themselves aggrieved and appeal to
this Court against the same.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
Pray this Court will please to
Appoint a time for hearing and
determining the said Appeal
and that all Persons concerned
may then attend.
