To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in General Session of the Peace at the Sessions
House on Clerkenwell Green in the said County assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint James Westminster in the said
County.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order under the
Hands and Seals of Rt. Taylor< no role > and James Croft< no role > Two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said
County of Middlesex bearing date the 25th. day of
November last Charles Maillard< no role > aged upwards of Forty
Years was removed and conveyed from the Parish of
Saint Pancras in the said County to the said Parish of
Saint James Westminster as the place of his last legal
Settlement whereby Your Petitioners conceive themselves
to be aggrieved

Your Petitioners therfore humbly Appeal
to this Court against the Adjudication of the
said two Justices and their said Order and pray
that your Worships will he pleased to appoint
a Day to hear and determine the said Appeal

And Your Petitioners will ever pray
