To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in their General Session of the Peace, Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Paul
Covent Garden in the said County

Sheweth.


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the
hands & Seals of G Mercer and Mr. A. Taylor Esquires two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of
Westminster in the sd. County (One whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the 8th. day of November last. Ann Flaxman< no role >
was removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of
St Martin in the fields in the sd City and Liberty to the sd Parish
of St. Paul Covent Garden as the Place of her last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceived themselves
Aggrieved by the Order of the said Two Justices
therefore humbly Appeal to this Court against the
same And pray your Worhisps will be pleased
to appoint a Day in this present Session for the
hearing and determining the said Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc
