To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in the General Session of the Peace at the Sessions
House on Clerkenwell Green in the said County assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint James within the Liberty of Westminster
in the said County.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order under the Hands
and Seals of John Staples< no role > and Samuel Hawkins< no role > Esquires
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
said county of Middlesex bearing date the 19th. day of
November last Hannah Wardley< no role > Widow of Samuel
Wardley
< no role > deceased was removed and conveyed from the Parish
of Saint Mary Whitechapel in the County aforesaid to the
said Parish of Saint James Westminster as the place of
her last legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be aggrieved

Your Petitioners therfore humbly Appeal
to this Court against the Adjudication of the
said two Justices and their said Order and
parish that your Worships will he pleased to
appoint a Day to hear and determine the
said Appeal

And your Petitioners will ever pray Etc.
