Gentlemen
Having been honor'd with your Letter of the 4th. Instant, I this
Day Said it before a Vestry of this Parish Called for the Purpose of taking
the same into Consideration, and am directed by that Vestry to transmit to You
the inclosed Copy of the Resolutions thereof, come to in consequence of Your
Said Letter, and to Return you their Thanks for the Obliging and Convenient
Opportunity Offered to such House Keepers and other respectable Inhabitants
of this Parish who may be Willing to learn the use of Arms, to be instructed
therein for the Landable Purpose mentioned in your Letter.
