St. Paul Covent Garden

At a general meeting of the Inhabitants of this
Parish in the Vestry Room this 14th. day of
July 1780 by adjournment to take into their
further Consideration the Letter received from the
Committee of the Lord Lieutenant and Deputy
Lieutenants requesting them to learn the use of Arms
etc as above recited referrs to a former minute.

Mr. Humphry Tomkinson< no role > in the Chair

Resolved.

That it is the sence of this meeting that the
house holden and other Inhabitants of this parish
should learn the Use of Arms for the purpose of
assisting the Civil power within the said parish
