To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
in General Session of the Peace at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the said
County assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor in the Parish of Saint James
the Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of this Order of Removal under the Hand
and Seal of David Walter< no role > said Phillip Dyot< no role > Esqrs two of his
Majestys Justices of the peace in and For the County of Middlesex (one
whereof being of the Quroum) bearing Date the foreteenth Day
of Gentl last whereby Margaret Chanter< no role > Wife of William Chanter< no role >
Gone from then and there service in their Middlesex Street in
as a Substitute for John Guildsroy< no role > of the Parish of Saint George
Hanover Square in the said County forced her two Children by her
said Husband Vizt Catherine< no role > aged about 3 Years and William< no role >
aged about one Year and seven Months was removed and
conveyed from the said parish of Saint Giles in the Fields to the said
Parish of Saint James as the place of the last legal Settlement of the
Said William Chanter< no role > and or his said Wife and two Children Whereby
your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to this
Court apt the adjudication of the said two Justices
and their said Order and pray that your Worships
will please to appear same Day in the present
Session for the Wearing and determining the said
Appeal and to order that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Giles in the field and all Person conceived do
then attend this appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc
