one of the Bail for the Defendant James Barlow< no role >
on the
above Prosecution maketh Oath, That he hath been informed
and verily beleives the Defendant James Barlow< no role >
atended in
this Honourable Court, many Days successively in this present
Session, to Surrender himself and to abide by the Judgement
which might he awarded in this Case by the Honourable,
Bench, and particularly on Saturday last he atended here,
for the Purposes aforesaid, but too late, (the Court being these,
Adjourned) and being Informed the Court was broke up
he departed, and hath since absconded, and this Deponent
by himself and Agents hath almost continually since,
been in Search of the said Defendant at his House in
Oxford Road
, ad every other Place where this Deponent,
Conjectured there was a possibility of meeting with the
Defendant, in order to seize him, & surrender him, in
discharge of himself as Bail on the above Prosecution,
and verily beleives (if this Honourable Court will indulge
him with Time so to do) he shall be able to surrender the
said Defendant in Discharge of himself as Bail, which
he purposes to do.
