At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex
at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the said County (by
Adjournment) on Thursday the Twenty first day of October in
the Thirteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Third King of Great Britain Etc.

A Bill of Edward Hall< no role > Genl Governor of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell forpassing ofMoney by him laid out and
Expended in keeping the disorderly prisoners in Custody at Clerkenwell
Bridewell to hard Labour amountg. to the Sum of Two Pounds Nineteen
Shillings and Six pence being laid before this Court for payment and it
appearing to the said Court that the Charges are Just and Reasonable
It is Ordered that John Benson< no role > Gentleman the County Treasurer do
pay unto the said Edward Hall< no role > the said Sum of Two Pounds Nineteen
Shillings and Six Pence in full of his said Demand And that the Receipt of the said
Edward Hall< no role > together witha Copy ofthis Order Shall be a Sufficient
discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment
