Middlesex


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign
Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in
Saint John Street in the said County (by adjournment) on Thursday
the Twenty first day of October in the Thirteenth Year of the Reign of
our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc.

A Bill of Edward Hall< no role > Gentleman Governor of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
Bridewellfor Subsistance Money paid by him to Vagrants while in his Custody
amounting to the [..] of Five Pounds& aTwelve Shillings and Ten pence being laid before this Court
for payment And it appearing by Writing under the hands of Benjamin Cowley< no role >
and John Walford< no role > Esquires two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said
County of Middlesex to whom it was referred to Examine that the Charges therein
are just and reasonable It is Ordered that John Benson< no role > Gentleman the
County Treasurer Do pay unto the said Edward Hall< no role > the said Sum of Five
Pounds & Twelve Shillings & Ten Pence in full of his said Demand and that the Receipt of
the said Edward Hall< no role > together with this Order shall be a Sufficient Discharge
to the said Treasurer for such payment
