him that the Goal distemper is in Clerkenwell Bridewell
, Having
sent yesterday to enquire after a Boy who was bred up in this
Hospital and put in Bridewell
by his Master for Theft And the
Apothecary
who went to see him reported him very bad with the Goal
Distemper upon no other allowance than one penny per day
Sir Charles thinks some care ought to be taken to prevent the
spreading of the infection which he submits to Sir John.

to the foundling Hospital
