To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in general Session of the Peace at Hicks Hall in the said
County assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Warden [..]
and Overseers of the Poor the Parish of Saint Anne within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County aforesaid

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands
and Seals of T. Treslove and John Goodchild< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the City ad Liberty of
Westminster (one whereof of being of the Quorum) bearing date the
third Day of May Instant Mary Shade< no role > Wife of Henry Francis
Shade
< no role > (gone from her) and their Child to wit William< no role > aged seven
Years and upwards was removed and conveyed from the Parish
of Saint Martin in the Fields within the Liberty of Westminster in
the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Anne as the
[..] of the last legal Settlement of the said Mary Shade< no role > and Child
Whereby Your Petitioners conceive themselves to be aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal to this Court
against the Adjudication of the said two Justices and their
said Order and Pray that Your Worships will please
to appoint some day in this present Session for the
hearing and determining the said Appeal and to Order
That the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Martin in the fields and all
Persons concerned do then attend this Court
