To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. Mary White Chapel in the County
of Middlesex , to convey, and to the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Lukes
in the County of Middlesex to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set,
being two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace, in
and for the County of Middlesex aforesaid [one where-
of being of the Quorum] by the Church Wardens or
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Mary
White Chapel . That Elianor Morris< no role > Singlewoman
and her three Bastard Children Vizt John < no role > aged
6 Years and upwards Joseph < no role > aged 4 Years and
upwards and Thomas < no role > aged Nine Months and
upwards have lately come to inhabit in
the said Parish of St. Mary White Chapel , not having
gained any legal Settlement there, nor produced any
Certificate acknowledging them to be settled elsewhere,
and are likely to become chargeable to the same;
We the said Justices, upon Examination of the Pre-
mises upon Oath, and other Circumstances, do ad-
judge the same to be true, and do also adjudge the
Place of the last legal Settlement of the said Eleanor
Morris

to be in the said Parish of St Lukes in the said
County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, and
by Virtue of the Statutes in that Behalf to require
you, on Sight of hereof, to remove and convey, the said
Eleanor Morris< no role > and her said Three Bastard
Children (for Nurture)
from and out of your said Parish of St. Mary White
Chapel , to the said Parish of St. Lukes in the said
County of Middlesex and them deliver
to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
there, or to some, or one of them, together with this
our Order, or a true Copy hereof, who are hereby
required to receive and provide for them
according to Law. Given under our Hands and
Seals this 9th Day of Novr in the
year of our Lord 177 3
