The Appeal States

That by an Order of removal under the Hands and Seals of two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (Vizt.) John Fielding< no role > Knight
and Thomas Kynaston< no role > Esquire dated the 14th. day of Decr. last Elizabeth Brigett< no role > single
woman Aged About Twenty three Years and Ann < no role > her Female Bastard Child Aged four
months was removed from the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County of
Middlesex to the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell Aforesaid as the Place of their last
legal Settlement by which the Petitioner think themselves Aggrieved

Upon Which an Order is made for an Attendance on Thursday the 13th. Janry 1774

Case

About two Years Age the Pauper hired herself for a Year and lived six Months With
Mrs. Meriton in the parish of Saint James Clerkenwell then went away and hired herself
to Mr. Pringle in Saint Sepulchers Within and lived six weeks at £6. Wages then hired
herself Again to Mrs. Meriton at £7. a Year and staid with her six Months
