At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden for the
County of Middlesex at Hicks-Hall in Saint John Street in the said County (by Adjournment)
on Thursdaythe Twenty second day of Aprilin the thirteenth Year of the Reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain Etc.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Andew Holborn above the Bars in the County of Middlesex Have at this present
Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by Virtue of an
Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals of John Cox< no role > and Philip Dyot< no role >
Esquires Two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for the County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Nineteenth day of February
1773 Thomas a Male Child aged about Ten Months was removed from the Parish
of Saint Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint
Andrew Holborn above the Bars as the place of his last legal Settlement Whereby
the Petitioners thought themselves aggrieved Whereupon at the Request of the
said Petitioners It is Ordered that the Benefit of their said Appeal be saved unto
them and that the hearing and determining thereof be and the said same is hereby
adjourned until the next General Session of the Peace to be holden for this County
and that on Notice hereof in the mean time to be given to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Saint Giles in the Fields they and all
Persons concerned do attend the Court at Hicks-Hall aforesaid on Thursday the
Twenty second day of May next to hear and abide the Judgement and
Determination of the said Court touching the said Appeal.
