Oath and saith that her said Husband was in the bigining
of October last seized with A Violent Illness or rageing Fever and [..]
and never got out of his Bed till he was taken out of
his Bed to be Buried And that her said Husband died
on or about the Seventy eighth day of November last of the
Aforesaid disorder, And this Deponent Josephe
upon his Oath saith that when he Attended with Mr. Stal [..]
Justice Welches the said Mr. Steele told this Deponent he was
call on him at the then next Sessions in Order to go wth
Hall to find the Bill and this Deponent Frusting to the
Calling of the said Mr. Steele and he not attending on him
according to his word this Deponent not being Any way
Acquainted with Law Matters did not Attend thinking
the said Mr. Steele would have Called on him pursuant
to what he undertook and promised to this Deponent
but this Deponent was Greatly Surprized to hear that the
said Mr. Steele was Dead and Buried and this Deponent
on his Oath Saith that he is not Worth five Shillings
in the World and has a Wife and three Children to
provide for
