AT a Meeting of the Committee of Justices appointed
to receive Proposal for ground for rebuilding
the House of Correction Prison &
Session Hence Augt. the 27th. 1772
Mr White having of informd the Comee that
[..] a deputation from the Society of Quaker
attended Mr Rogus was order'd to give
the Comeetis opinion of the stale of their
building he says he has not accurally
examend it but imagine it is in a
very ruinous State and will require a
considerable sum to repaer it on
which a deputation of in from the Comittee
of Quakers were calld in, and reported
that there had been no meeting of
their Body since the last committee
which had power to conclude finaly
but that their would be aquarterly
meeting next Tuesday to which they
will recommend the [..] surrender of
the leave of theat the a proper peaceas shall
and proposed thepaiceValue Thod. be as certained
be agreed on betweenby two surveyer
to be nam'd by the Comee of the Sessand two by
them and a fifth added by them
Surveyors if [..] necessary and that they will
Justices at the next County Day
report the same to the Cr of St and
that if it shall be then approvd
they make no doubt their genl.
