At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden
for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in
the said County (by Adjournment) On Thursday the Fourth day of
September in the Sixth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Third King of Great Britain Etc

Whereas the Churchwarden [..] and Overseers of the Poor of the Hamlett of
Ratcliffe in the Parish of St. Dunstan Stepney in the County of Middlesex Have at this Present Session Exhibited their Petition and appeal
Setting forth That by an Order under the hands and Seals of Christopher Scott< no role > and
Robert Pell< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County
of Middlesex (One whereof is of the Quorum) bearing date the 13th. day of August
last past Thomas Wilson< no role > Rebecca< no role > his wife and their Child to wit Rebecca< no role > aged
about Two years and a Quarter were removed from the Precinct of Saint
Catherine in the County of Middlesex aforesaid to the said Hamlet of Ratcliffe
as the place of their last legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners thought
themselves Aggrieved Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioners It is
Ordered that the benefit of their said Appeal be saved unto them and that the
hearing and determining thereof be and the same is hereby Adjourned until
the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for this County And
that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Precinct of Saint
Catherine on notice hereof to be given to them in the mean time and all Persons
Concerned do Attend the Court at the said next General Quarter Session of the
Peace to be held for the said County on Monday the Twentieth [..] day of October
next by Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon at Hicks Hall aforesaid to hear And
abide the Judgement and determination of the Court there touching the said Appeal
