At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden
for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in
the said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday the fourth day of
September in the Sixth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the Third King of Great Britain

Two Bills of John Stephens< no role > Governor of the House of Correction in the
Liberty of Westminster in this County being laid before this Court for
payment amounting to the Sum of Five pounds fourteen shillings and Seven
pence given and distributed amongst the Vagrants and other poor Prisoners
in his Custody the one beginning the Eleventh day of January last to the fifth day
of April last and the other from the Eleventh day of January to the Eleventh
day of August last and one other Bill of the said John Stephens< no role > for Bread
Distributed amongst the said Poor Prisoners amounting to Six pounds Eleven
Shillings and five pence making together the Sum of Twelve pounds Six shillings
shillings and it Appearing to this Court that the said Bills are Just It is
Ordered by this Court that Mr. James Jefferson< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay
to the said John Stephens< no role > the said Sum of Twelve pounds Six shillings
full of his said Demand whose receipt together with this Order shall be a
sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.
