The Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
County of Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the Peace
[..] Hall in the said County Assembled.

The humble petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Anne within the Liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by Virtue of pass Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals
of Joseph Girdler< no role > and Stephen Clarke< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for he County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the
Fifth day of June last Margaret Thomas< no role > Wife of Henry Thomas< no role > who has deserted
her was removed and conveyed from the Parish of St. James at Clerkenwell in the
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of st. Anne as the place of her last Legal
Settlement whereby your petitioners conceive themselves to be Aggrieved

Therefore they humbly Appeal to this Court against
the Adjudication of the said two Justices and Pray that the
Benefit of this Appeal may be saved to your petitioners
untill the next General Session of the Peace to be holden
for this County And that your Worships will be Pleased
to Order that the hearing and determining of the said Appeal
be Adjourned untill the said next General Session of the peace
And that the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the
said parish of St. James Clerkenwell and all person
concerned do attend the Court of the said next General Session
some day in the said Session to hear and Abide the
Judgement and Determination of the same Court
touching the said Appeal.

And your Petitioners shall Pray Etc
