The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Catherine Coleman in London

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the
Hand and Seals of George Garrett< no role > and Thomas Smith< no role > Esquires
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County
of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date
the Eighteenth Day of June One Thousand seven hundred
and Sixty five Thomas Baker< no role > and Elizabeth< no role > his wife were
removed and Conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint
Mary White Chapel in the said County of Middlesex to the
said Parish of St. Catherine Coleman as the place of their
last legal Settlement

your Petitioners conceiving themselves
Aggrieved thereby Do humbly Appeal against
the same and pray that the hearing and
Determining of the said Appeal may be Adjourn [..]
untill the next Session of the Peace to be held in
and for the said County and that the Court will be
pleased to Appoint a Day in the said next
Session for the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the poor of the said parish of Saint Mary
White Chapel and all others concerned to
Attend this Court to hear and abide the
Judgment and Determination of the said
Court touching the said Appeal.
