Deced at his Lodgings in King's Court Russell Street in
the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields , on Tuesday Afternoon
and on Enquiring have the Deced was, Deced said that he
was very bad, and Deponent says that the Deced died there
between Seven and Eight O' Clock on the [..] Tuesday Evening
Deponent says that the Deced was in perfect Health when
he went into the Long Fields with Deponent on Monday,
and verily believes that his Death was occasioned by some
hurt that he reced from said Nicholas Maccabe< no role > in the Bottle.

Russel Street when Deced insisted that his Relation Sheridan
should fight Maccabe and offered to lay ten Gruine as that he would
beat Maccabe, says that Deced was then vary much in Liquor, Says
that he went with said Maccabe, Sheridan and the Deced into the
Long Fields behind Montague House , where Maccabe and Sheridan
fought, Says that upon Maccabe's giving Sheridan a Blow when
he was bourn, Deced came into The Ring made to fight in, and
shoved said Maccabe with his hand, Saying it was not fair to strike
a Person when he was Down, upon which Maccabe hit the Deced
upon the side of his Head with an open hand, but Deced did
Not return the blow, Says That Maccabe and Sheridan fought on
until Sheridan gave out, after which Deced again charged said
Maccabe with having shaven foul play, and said that unless he
Maccabe would fight the Deced, he would take the Law of
Maccabe for the blow be reced from him upon which said
Maccabe and Deced fought, Says that after fighting some time
Maccabe and the Deced having hold of each other, the Deced was
Throson down with his Head downward and said Maccabe fell
upon him, where upon the Deced lay specehless and motionless
upon The Ground, Says that he heard a Gentleman, that bled the
Deced say that he believed the Deced's Neck was out of Joint, and
that Edward Rawley< no role > pulled the Deced's Neck, and the Deced was
afterwards carried by the other Persons along the Fields towards
home, and Deponent was informed that he was afterwards put
into a Hackney Coach, and carried home, Deponent says that
the Deced was in good Health when he went in to the long
Fields on monday, and believes that the fall which he reced there
occasioned his Death
