At the General Quarter Session of the peace holden for the
County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in St. John's street
in the said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday the
Fifteenth day of July 1762, in the Second year of the
reign of King George the Third

It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > the Treasurer of the County of Middx
Do pay unto Mr. John Stephens< no role > Governor of Tothill fields Bridewell
Three pounds one shilling and three pence in full of his account
for Subsistence of Vagrants there from June Session 1761
To this Day and that his receipt together with this Order
shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for
such Payment
