At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our Lord
the King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks
Hall in Saint John street in the said County (by
Adjournment) on Thursday the Fifteenth day of July
1762 in the Second year of the reign of King George the
Third

A Bill of John Severn< no role > for Bricklayer work done at New prison at
Clerkenwell amounting to two pounds one shilling and three pence
half penny and another Bill of the said Mr. Severn for Bricklayers
work done at the House of Correction there amounting to Twenty
three pounds thirteen shillings and five pence being now laid
before this Court for payment And it appearing by writing under the
hand [..] of Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esqr . To whom it was referred
to examine the same Bills that the charges therein are Just
and reasonable It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer
of this County do pay to the said Mr. Severn the Sum of Twenty
five pounds [..] fourteen shillings and eight pence in full of his said
Demand whose receipt together with this order shall be a
sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment
