To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Luke in
the County of Middlesex and to the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor, of the Parish
of Saint Giles Cripplegate London

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex aforesaid
(one whereof being of the QUORUM) by the Church-
Wadens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Lukes That Jane Politer< no role > Widow
of John Politer< no role > deceased and [..] her four Children
namely Charles< no role > aged thirteen years, Elizabeth< no role > aged
five years, Sarah< no role > aged about three years and William< no role >
aged about six months
have lately intruded, and
came into the said Parish of Saint Luke
and are become chargeable to the same; We
the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the
same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the said Jane Politer and
her said four Children to be in the Parish of
Saint Giles Cripplegate aforesaid

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to
require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said Jane Politer and her said four
Children
from and out of your said Parish of Saint Luke
to the said Parish of Saint Giles
Cripplegate
and them deliver unto the Church-wardens and
Overseers of the Poor, there or to some, one of them,
together with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof,
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
them according to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals this 15th Day of May
1762.
