Informations of Witnesses severally
taken and acknowledged on the behalf of our Sovereign
Lord the King touching the Death of a New Born Female
Child, at the Dwelling House of Mr. Thomas Evans< no role >
known by the Sign of the Star and Garter in St.
Martin's Lane in the Parish of St. Martin in the
feilds in the Liberty of Westminster , on the 24th.
day of September in the First Year of the Reign
of our Sovereign Lord King George the Third, before
the John Feary< no role > His Majesty's Coroner for the
said City and Liberty on an Inquisition then and
there taken on veiw of the Body of the said New Born
Female Child then and there lying Dead as follow to wit

Mary Evans< no role > Wife of Thomas Evans< no role > of St. Martin's in the feilds
Victualler on her Oath saith that Hester Rowdon< no role > Singlewoman
came to Live as a Servant with her in or about the Month of
March last and continued with her untill Monday the 21st. day
of September Instant, that about 3 Months ago she suspected
the said Hester Rowden< no role > This name instance is in set 4094386. to be Pregnant with Child that the said
Hester Rowden< no role > constantly persisted that she was not, Deponents
Suspicions continued untill Monday last when she had great reasons
to suppose that the said Hester Rowden< no role > This name instance is in set 4386. was in Labour, upon which
