Taken before
me this 24th. day of July 1761
Who being on Oath says that on Saturday the 13th.. of June
last about five o Clock in the Evening a Person now present
who calls himself John Steel< no role >
hired of this Informant
a Palecoloured Chesnut Horse about 14 hands high
with a Cutt Tail and Balled face, says that he returned
with the said Horse about 11 o' Clock the same Evening
when he Charged a nine Shilling Piece for said Steel to
pay for the Hire of said Horse, says that on the Friday
following said Steel hired the same Horse and returned
on the Saturday Evening
