looking into the Closet in the Shop she saw the said
Basil with [..] things in his hand tyed up as She
then Apprehended in a hankerchief and [..]
the Street Door & locked it & took the Key out
in order to prevent the Escape of the said Basil
and Ran up and Allarmed her Master & Says that
she saw a large quantity of Buckles rings &
other thing lying in a heap in the sd Closet &
upon Charging the sd. Basil with having those goods
tyed up in a White Hanherchif he denyed he had
any such Hankercf and upon Searching in the Sd.
Closet she found along Double high Cap
Concealed be hind the Clock case one End of which
was riped Open and as she bels. was what she
before took for a hankercf which sd. Cap the
said Basil acknowledged to be his And then Inf.
Tho. Nott< no role > for himself saith that bet Eight & Nine
O' Clock on Saturday night last he was Called over
the Way from his Master Shop by the Sd Basil
Who asked him to go out on the Morrow Mong to
Work which this Inf afraid to do And about four
O' Clock the next Morning he was waked by the
sd Basil andwhogot up & let him in and they
went down into the Kitchen to russ himself
when his Coat & Shoes were And the sd Basil
