Justices of the man for the said County

Who being severally on Oath say & first the Inf
David Sanders< no role > for himself saith That about three
Weeks ago the Wife of a Person now present who
calls himself Joseph Spencer< no role > [..] offer'd to this
Inf to sale three Pictures for which she asked
Twelve Shillings but this Inf suspecting this sd.
Pictures was not Honestly come by upon Questions
of he she told him that she had then of his
Husband & that they belong to an Acquantan
of his And the Pictures being left in his Custody
to there 'em to Dr Brass for whom this Inf does
business the Dr had the same, Suspision of
this Inft. but Directed this Inf to give the
Twelve Shillg in Order that they might be
Determined And upon the Dr. Examining his Catalog [..]
Discovered that one of the sd. Pictures he had sold
at one of the Sales to Mr Joshua Reynolds< no role > of
Leucifer Fields and give this Inf order to cary
this sd Picture to Mr Reynolds's and which sd
there Pictures proceed to be the property of
the sd. Mr Reynolds And the sd. Joseph Spencer< no role >
did in the hearing of the Inf. acknowledge
