20th.. day of April 1761
Who being on Oath says that on Wednesday the
8th.. of April Instant after Ten o'Clock in the Evening
a Person now present who calls himself Wm. Dupuy< no role >
[..] were at this Informent's Master's House in Company
with two other Persons who called themselves, one
Morgan, the other Wayne, says that the said Dupuy was
dressed in a light coloured Coat Lappelled, that said Wayne
was dressed in a Pompadore or Iraun coloured Coat, and said
Morgan in a black Coat, says that they all appreared to be
dirty, and that they said they came from Gravesend

on Horseback, says that they all lay at the
said House that Night says that the next Morning he
saw in the possession of the said Dupuy a Watch of a light Yellow
colour which he wound up,says that a Watch now produced by Mr. Ashburnham he
believes to be the Watch which the said Dupuy had then in
his possession, says that he also ours in the possession
of said Morgan a Watch in a Clark Shagreen Case
[..] & a black Ribbond, says that on the Monday which
was two days before all the said three Persons came
to the said House, and lay there all Night, and that
they then appeared to have now a takes, says that the
Thursday following the saidthere PenWayne & Morgan
