The information of Francis Irwin< no role > & Paul Eagans< no role > taken
before me one of his Majesty Justices of the Peace for
the said County

Who being severally on Oath say & first this Jus. Francis Irwin< no role >
for himself saith That about Ten Days ago this Jus mised
some money and suspecting a Person now present who calls
himself James Head< no role > (who is Shopman to this Jus) to have stole
the same this Jus. in the Presence of the other Jus. worked
half a Guinea which half Guinea was after sent to this
Jus. shop for goods and shack after upon the Jus. looking with
his till be found the sd. half Guinea gave and upon Excus.
the sd. James he pulled out of his pocket two half Guineas &
Two Shilling (the at first he denyed he had any money at
all) one of which half Guineas is the half Guinea marked
by this Jus. And in the Property of the Jus. and as he bell
takeing out of the till by the sd. James And this Jus. Paul
Eayans
< no role > for himself saith that he was presence when the
sd. Irwin Charged the sd. James with the sd. half Guinea
and further saith that he was present when the sd. Irwin
Marked it and that the sd. Irwin gave the Jus the sd
half Guinea so marked as assd. which half Guinea this
Jus. sent it to the other Jus. for goods And further saith that
he heard the Sd. James deny his having any Money but
that after he pulled out two half Guineas & two Shillgs. our
of which half Gunieas is the half Guinea so marked by
the other Jus. and sever by this Jus. to his Shop as assd.
