and begging was delivered of a Male Bastard Child at Acton aforesaid in
the County aforesaid and that thereby she the said Elizabeth Cooke< no role > This name instance is in set 453. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS . hath
become chargeable & is now chargeable to the said parish of Acton and
that she the said Elizabeth the Cooke had not then nor got hath any
lawfull settlement in the said parish of Acton and thereupon they the
said Churchwardens of the parish aforesaid do pray of me the
Justice aforesaid that for themselves and for the other Inhabitants
of the parish aforesaid a due remedy may be provided & that Justice
may be done in that behalf according to the form of the statute in
that case made which complaint Information & Prayer by me there
Justice aforesaid being heard I in said Samuel Wegg< no role > at Acton
aforesaid in the County aforesaid on the said Thirty first day of
March in the year aforesaid upon the examination of the said
Elizabeth Cooke< no role > upon Oath by me unto her upon the holy Gaspel
of God Administend do find the said complaint Information to be
true and thereupon it is considered by me the Justice afroesaid that
she the said Elizabeth Cooks Recommitted & she is by me committed
to the House of Correction at Clerkenwell in the County aforesaid
untill the next quarter Sessions of the Peace to be holden within
& for the said County, In Testimony whereof I the said samuel Wegg< no role >
the Justice aforesaid at Acton aforesaid in the County aforesaid
the thirty first day of March aforesaid in the year aforesaid
unto this record do set my seal
