WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex (one being of the Quorum) by the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the, Parish of
St. Giles in the Fields in the said County, That
Ann Dixon< no role > wife of Richard Dixon< no role > (who is now in
Prison) with their two Children Vizt. Mary< no role > aged
about Twenty one Months & Richard< no role > aged about
nine Months and
lately come into the said Parish endeavouring to settle
there, contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
said Justices, and we do adjudge that they are likely
to become chargeable to the said Parish; and upon Exami-
nation of the said Richard Dixon< no role >
taken upon Oath, it further appeareth unto us,
and we do likewise adjudge, that the Parish of St. Mildred
in the Poultry London
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Richard & his sd. Wife & Children

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St. Giles in the Fields
forthwith to remove and convey the said Ann and husd.
two Children
from the said Parish of St Giles in the
Fields to the said
Parish of St. Mildred and deli-
ver them to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, or to some or one of them, who are hereby re-
quired to provide for them according to Law. Given under
our Hands and Seals the 15th. Day of October 17 54

To the Church-wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the respective Parishes of
St. Giles in the Fields
in the County of Middlesex ,
and St. Mildred in the Poultry London
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern
