Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Stains in the
County of Middx exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal unto this Court at this present
General Session of the Peace begun and holden for the County of Middx on Monday the ninth
day of September
instant Setting forth That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order of
Removal under the Hands and Seals of Sir Joseph Ayloffe Houlding< no role >

in the City of Westminster
in the County aforesaid to the said Parish

as the Place of her last legal Settlement which Appeal was appointed by this Court
to be heard on this present Thursday the twelfth day of September instant
Now upon hearing
of what was alledged by Mr. Serjeant Hayward of Council for the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Margaret and also by Mr. Stow of
Council for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Stains This
Court being of Opinion to adjourn the said Appeal Doth Order that the hearing and
determining the Matter of the said Appeal be and the same is hereby adjourned untill the
next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County of Middx
And that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of both the said Parishes and all Persons concerned do
attend the Court of the said next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the said
County by adjournment on Thursday the Twenty Fourth day of October
next at ten of
the Clock in the Forenoon to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of the
same Court touching the said Appeal
