Taken the 14th. Day of Septr. 1751 at
the White Rear the Corner of old Street
Square on View of the body of Solaman

This Informt. saith That on Saturday the ninth Inft.
the deced came to Infortmt. House at the Coach &
Horses in St. Lukes parish in the County afd. abt.
7 or 8 o' Clock in the Evening & called for a [..]
of Beer & sat by himself & after he had drank
it went out of doors & presently returned again
& called for another & sat by himself [..] hea three
Person came in to Informt. House whose name
were (as Informt. is told) Eliza Dunbar< no role > John Ducker< no role >
Joseph Mursey< no role > alias Johnston < no role > , who had a Tankard
of Deer in the Beg adjoyning to desire the deced
sat-& the 2 Dunbars [..] the sd Mursey als Johnson call'd for three or four more & paid for
them-Then the two Dunbars & Mursey called for
two Shillings worth of punch & had the same
saith that between 11 or 12 o Clock same night
found deced the two Dunbars & Mursey drinking
together in the same box that Mursey & his Company
sat in-Says he heard as he went backwards &
forwards high words between Mursey & deced
& as Informts. was in his Yard he heard the deced say
he was Stab'd says he found the deced Stript
as in the Custom for persons that generally box
upon whichdecedInformant imediatly ran to secure Mursey
because he saw him with a drawn Kinfe in his
right hand but [..] Mursey get away from Informant [..]
& beleives that Mursey was the Cause of the death
of deced by stabing him with the sd Knife
