and the rest of the Worshipful His Majestys Justices in their
General Session of Gaol Delivery for the County of Middx
Assembled.

The Humble Petition of Edward Thompson< no role > now a prisoner
in His Majestys Gaol of Newgate for the sd. County of Middx

Sheweth

That your Petitioner on the 12th. day of September last
was Committed to the Gaol of Tochilfields Bridewell in the City and
Liberty of Westminster in the said County of Middx by Henry Fielding< no role >
Esquire one of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the said County being
charged upon the Oath of James Dell< no role > and Joseph Nicholas< no role > for feloniously
assaulting the said James upon the Kings Highway putting him in
Fear and Feloniously taking from the person of the said James one
Silver Watch and some Silver the property of the said James.

Your Petitioner therefore most Humbly prays that
at this present Session of Gaol Delivery holden for the said
County of Middx He may be either Tried Bailed, or
Discharged for the Felony and Robbery aforesd. pursuant
to the statute in such Case made and provided.
