At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of Our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of Middx
at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the County aforesaid by Adjornment on Friday the nineteenth day of
April in the twenty fourth year of the reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Second King Great
Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > Peter Elers< no role > William Withers< no role > William Caslon< no role > Esquires
and Other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to Keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Upon hearing of the Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Banstead
in the County of Surry against a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of Pierce
Galliard
< no role > and Merry Teshmaker< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace (whereof one
is of the Quorum) for the County of Middx bearing date the twenty ninth day of March last
whereby Joseph Kirk< no role > Ann< no role > his Wife and Ann< no role > their Daughter aged six Months were removed
and conveyed from the Parish of Enfield in the said County of Middx to the said Parish of
Banstead as the Place of their last legal Settlement And upon hearing of what was alledged by
Councel for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Enfield and also by
Councel for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish Banstead This
Court doth allow of the said Appeal and doth vacate and discharge the aforesaid Order of the
said two Justices of the Peace and the same is hereby vacated and discharged accordingly
And this Court doth Order that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Enfield or some or one of them do forthwith pay or cause to be paid to the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Banstead or one of them
the Sum of Seven Shillings adjudged and allowed to them by this Court for the Charges
which they have been at in and about the maintaining the said Joseph Kirk< no role > Ann his Wife
and Ann their Daughter since the time of their said removal thither by virtue or colour
of the aforesaid Order of the said two Justices of the Peace
